What a year 2020 was. Let's hope that 2021 gets a whole lot better—together we can rise above this and make a future better, bigger, brighter! There are lots of things in store for this year, roll out will begin mid to late January.
Roadmap for 2021:
- • Current Themes - Updating all of our current themes built with 2.8 to be more user-friendly with Sparkle version 3, namely organising layers and groups to make for easier editing and customisation.
- • Learning Centre - The Learning Centre started mid 2020 but with the release of Big Sur and Sparkle 3 it was decided to wait, primarily so I didn't have to do everything twice. The learning centre will give you lots of tips on how to get the most out of Sparkle Themes and you'll also learn a lot about Sparkle. Each lesson and tutorial has been tested on humans and none were harmed in the process :)
- • New Themes - at last count, 24 new themes are in progress, the goal is to release at least one every two weeks. I held off on releasing these last year due to the eminent release of Sparkle 3. All new themes will take advantage of the awesome new features in Sparkle 3.
- • New Theme Extras - With Sparkle 3 my theme extras list has ballooned—I'm no longer counting—but here will be lots of new theme extras rolling out along with themes.
- • New Year Discount - Our New Year Discount applies to all existing themes. So if there is a theme you wanted but have been procrastinating, now is the time to get it—everything is 35% off. Applies to existing themes and extras only.
- • Discount Cards - Discount Cards are back - buy now, get 25% off until your credit is used up. New themes can be purchased with discount cards as they are released.
- • Freebies - If you haven't noticed, we've made a freebies section here.

And it produces better, quicker websites. Sparkle 2.6 - Design full websites without writing a single line of code 'The best possible app there is if you want to avoid coding and create a website. I know, because I tested most of the alternatives.

The utility allows users to create modern, GDPR-complaint websites in a fully visual way. The Sketch Export to Sparkle plugin lets designers transfer a whole Sketch artboard into Sparkle.
Thanks to the tool's freeform layout engine, the artboard is instantly turned it into a working website. With the Sparkle 2.8 release, River SRL introduced a new low pricing tier of $29.99, and an option to subscribe to Sparkle Pro for $71.99.
